Valor & Lore is your home for literary luxuries from your favorite fictional worlds.
The vibes? Immaculate.
We give a nod to the cozy, sophisticated feeling of salons of the last century, but with a touch of modern whimsy, and the fantastical. No stuffiness. No pretentiousness. Always classy. Occasionally cheeky.
We want you to feel connected to your favorite fictional worlds and characters.
When you’re wearing a Valor & Lore design, you know you’re a part of something special:
a community of fellow book lovers and hopeless romantics like yourself.
You’ve got a place here.
Welcome home.
Meet the Founder, Ashley
Hey, I’m Ashley! After spending 15+ years as a brand expert + marketing executive helping founders at B2B and B2C startups in the U.S. and abroad, I decided to take my expertise, and work on building something of my own. Tapping into my Aelin Galythinius energy, if you will.
As a voracious, lifelong reader with a BA in Journalism, and a love of designing and photography, it only made sense to build in a space I cherish. Over the last couple years, I turned my silly, creative Booktok outlet into a literary lifestyle site and weekly newsletter for book lovers at Books are my Third Place—make sure you sign up! And now, a literary luxuries Shop here at Valor & Lore, connecting my fellow readers with worlds they love.
I can’t tell you how exciting and rewarding it is to work on making your own dreams happen. If you’ve been waiting, this is your sign to go for it!
When I’m not reading a book you can find me traveling, taking photographs, and practicing my abysmal French while walking the hills of San Francisco.
